1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using printmybooklets.ca (“the Website”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
These Terms apply to all orders, design services, and related interactions between you (“the Customer”) and SetupComm Corporation, doing business as printmybooklets.ca (“the Company,” “we,” or “us”).

We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be posted on this page and takes effect immediately upon posting.

2. Placing Orders
  1. Orders can be placed through our website, by email, or in person.

  2. All orders are considered custom work and are non-refundable once production begins.

  3. Orders must include print-ready PDF files with proper layout and specifications.

  4. All files must include a 0.125″ bleed on all sides and a 0.125″ safe area inside the trim. Keep all critical  elements (text, logos etc.) at least 0.25″ away from the edge.

  5. The Company is not responsible for delays, errors, or print issues caused by incorrect file setup, missing bleed, or missing safe areas.

  6. Orders are not considered accepted until full payment has been received and confirmed.

3. Payments
  1. Full payment must be received in advance before any order enters production.

  2. Payment may be made via the methods listed on our website or invoice (credit card, e-transfer, PayPal, or other approved methods).

  3. Orders are not processed, proofed, or scheduled until payment has cleared in full.

  4. All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

  5. The Company reserves the right to modify pricing or promotions without notice.

  6. Applicable taxes (including HST) will be added to the final invoice.

  7. No order is complete or accepted until full payment is received.

4. Design Services

When customers engage us for design or artwork preparation, the following conditions apply:

  1. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate, error-free content including all text, logos, and images.

  2. If we must source stock images or visuals on your behalf, a minimum $15 charge per visual will apply.

  3. Customers are solely responsible for any copyright infringement or misuse of third-party materials provided to us.

  4. We will create a design and provide proofs for your review and approval prior to production.

  5. The first two (2) proofs are provided free of charge. Each additional revision or proof beyond that will incur a $20 fee per proof.

  6. Designs created or modified for your order are provided solely for printing purposes through printmybooklets.ca. You may not reuse, reproduce, alter, or distribute these designs for any other purpose without our written permission.

  7. We retain printing rights to all artwork that we create or adjust to make it print-ready (including those modified through our FOC-Fixer process).

  8. Once your order is complete, you will be promptly notified for pickup at our Scarborough location near Sheppard & Neilson or for shipment, as per your selected option.

5. Product Quality, Colors & Proofs
  1. All printed products are subject to minor variations inherent in the printing process.

  2. Screen colors will never match printed colors 100%. Monitors use RGB light, while printers use CMYK inks. When RGB is converted to CMYK, a 5–7% color variation is considered industry standard.

  3. If exact color matching is critical, we recommend ordering a press proof or sample print.

  4. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all proofs before production. Once approved, the job is considered final.

  5. The Company is not liable for any errors in approved proofs, including spelling, layout, color, or content.

  6. A trimming tolerance of up to 1/16 inch (0.0625″) may occur during cutting and finishing.

6. Turnaround, Shipping & Pickup
  1. Production time begins after full payment is received and proof is approved (if applicable).

  2. Estimated production and delivery timelines are approximations only and not guaranteed.

  3. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather conditions, customs, or any factors beyond our control.

  4. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer once the order leaves our facility.

  5. Customers may choose local pickup from our Scarborough pickup point near Sheppard and Neilson, or shipping via available carriers.

7. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
  1. Orders may be canceled or changed only before production begins.

  2. All products are custom-made, no refunds or reprints will be issued for approved and completed jobs unless a verified production error on our part is identified.

  3. All claims for defects or errors must be submitted in writing within three (3) business days of order pickup or delivery.

  4. If a verified production error occurs, we may, at our discretion, reprint or credit the affected portion of the order.
No cash refunds will be issued.

8. Intellectual Property
  1. Customers retain ownership of their original content but grant SetupComm Corporation a limited license to use, reproduce, and modify submitted files solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order.

  2. Customers must not provide any content that infringes on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity.

  3. All designs or files created or modified by printmybooklets.ca remain the intellectual property of SetupComm Corporation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SetupComm Corporation, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • The content or materials you provide;

  • Any breach of these Terms; or

  • Any violation of third-party rights.

10. Disclaimer of Warranty

All products and services are provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. We make no representations or warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While we strive for accuracy and quality, we do not guarantee that printed colors, finishes, or materials will exactly match digital previews, previous orders, or screen displays.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific order in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Privacy

We value and respect your privacy. Information collected through printmybooklets.ca is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
